BROINTERMED announce re-opening of their services to Lybia
Due to the positive developments in Libya, SHIPPING AGENCY SERVICE is glad to announce that, besides the service to Benghazi which has been ongoing since April 2011, Brointermed Lines Ltd will resume their regular service to all main Libyan Ports from North Europe (UK, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium) and the Mediterranean (La Spezia, Salerno, Malta).
Initially the main ports (Tripoli, Misurata and Benghazi) will be served. Calls to Marsa El Brega and Ras Lanuf will be resumed as soon as the ports are safely operable.
The first sailings will be performed by m/v Leptis Star, expected to commence loading from North Europe on 25/09 and by m/v Sestri Star, due to La Spezia on 03/10.
Brointermed Lines would like to recall customers’ attention to the already running service from Antwerp, Rotterdam, Bremen, Harwich to the main Algerian Ports (Algiers, Oran always; Bejaja, Annaba, Skikda and Mostaganem subject inducement) with direct fortnightly sailings.
Traditionally the ships employed will be multipurpose, self-geared vessel, able to carry containers, general and project cargoes.
